We are intentionally integrated and fundamentally community-driven.Think of us as a ” hub without walls” : We focus on creating a sustainable ecosystem through partnering with women and their communities ,train our champions to co-create ,deliver and bring vital program support to women and children where its needed the most – By working with our women and utilising available community resources, we build strong foundations for lasting change- But we can’t do it alone

Women economic empowerment program
Unlocking the economic potential of women is a direct pathway out of poverty -not just for today but for generations to come.We equip women with practical agricultural , vocational skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship training. We facilitate access to resources like Village Savings and Loan Groups (SLGs) and business support, enabling women to build sustainable livelihoods, increase household income, and achieve greater financial independence.
Early childhood education and development ( FoUNDATION FOR FUTURES)
Every child deserves an early start to reach their full potential. Our aim is to create nurturing environments where children can thrive and develop the skills they need for a bright future .
health and wellbeing
While our focus is on the sustainable livelihoods and ecde , we recognise that these are intrinsically linked to health and wellbeing. Integrated in our core programs ,We work to improve access to reproductive health services through education, referrals, and support systems including menstrual health and hygiene to ensure we are building strong foundations for improved health and knowledge contributing to the holistic resilience of the women and children we serve. .
By 2035, WAF-Kenya aims to empower 100,000 women and children achieve sustainable livelihoods.
